Sled Island (June 18 - 22) The Sled Island Music & Arts Festival is an annual independent music and arts festival that showcases over 200 bands, visual artists, filmmakers, and comedians in multiple venues across the city. The festival is known for being a discovery festival, allowing attendees to discover their new favourite bands.
Much Ado About Nothing - The Play (June 19) From the team that brought you Riverona, Full Circle Theatre returns to its classical roots with Shakespeare’s most beloved battle of wits. The OG Rom-Com! Much Ado About Nothing is performed in the original text—but with our signature Full Circle flair.
Freezer Burn - Alberta Burning Man (June 19 - 23) Freezer Burn is the annual Alberta Regional Burning Man celebration where we create a temporary community out on the prairie to strengthen our ties with old friends and to forge friendships with newcomers to the Burning Man experience.
