  • Luminous Voices Presents LAMENTATIONS (April 18) This intimate performance for Good Friday highlights monumental works by Tallis, Bach and Howells. In the last of our series of Bach motets started in 2013, we will perform his iconic Jesu Meine Freude, featuring 11 movements of chorales, choruses and solo trios. The concert concludes with Herbert Howells’ Requiem, an introspective and contemplative work that exploits the full range of vocal harmonic colours that are a signature of Luminous Voices.
