It’s another busy week of fun things to do this week, including the Canada National Skating Championships, Winged and Wild At Bow Habitat Station, lots of hockey, and more!

  • Evolution of the Greatest Boy Bands at Stage West Theatre (Nov 7 - Feb 4) This show will recreate music history from the Beatles to The Bee Gees to the New Kids on the Block and finally on to NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys.

  • Zoo Lights (Nov 17 - Jan 7) ZOOLIGHTS is even brighter this year with over one million lights, close to 250 light figures, and an exciting new arctic aurora theme.

  • Lions Festival of Lights opens (Nov 25 - Jan 8) Brighten lights, hot Chocolate, Ice Sculptures, and Fireworks.

  • Legacy Lights kick-off (Dec 1 - Jan 14) Drive through the community, tour a decorated show home or bundle up and take a walk along the many lit-up streets, parks and through tunnels of lights.

  • Shiki Menya: If you’re looking for a good bowl of ramen, we’ve been told this is one of the best in the city. Their most famous ramen is the Chili Goma.

  • Smuggler’s: Practically an institution in Calgary, Smuggler’s has brought back their popular brunch special. For just $33, chow down on a basket of pastries, a main course, and unlimited access to their dessert buffet.

  • AYCE K BBQ: This new Korean BBQ joint offers unlimited food for only $30! They have a self-serve bar with lots of options, including fried chicken, noodles, ramen, and much, much more.
